With an estimated net worth of $800 million, the world’s richest ever golfer Tiger Woods lives an incredible lifestyle with a palatial Florida mansion, private jet and luxury cars. Let’s take a look.

Tiger turned pro in 1996 and has since earned more prize money – $121 million – than any other professional golfer in history. Though amazingly his tournament winnings account for less than 10 percent of his overall earnings.

In 2022, Forbes estimated that the 15-times major winner has so far earned an astounding $1.6 billion before taxes and agents’ fees during his career. Last year alone, he raked in an estimated $60 million in earnings, with only $200,000 coming from on-course winnings.

During his career, he has enjoyed highly lucrative endorsement deals with such major brands as Gatorade, American Express, Rolex, Gillette, and EA Sports. In 2013, he extended his deal with Nike, said to earn him $200 million.

Life of luxury

Tiger lives on the ultra-exclusive Jupiter Island on the coast of Martin County in Florida, where less than 1,000 people call home. His friend Micheal Jordan, Celine Dion and fellow golf legend Greg Norman are among the famous names to have a home there.

The average price of a property is almost $6 million, and the island is known for having the highest median home price sale and the highest per capita income anywhere in the United States.

In 2006, he bought a 12-acre property there for $40 million, the most expensive real estate deal on the island at the time. He then tore down the existing mansion and spent $50 million building his own state-of-the-art mega luxurious property. He also built his mother Kutilda a 15,000 square-foot property that neighbours Jupiter Island, said to cost £8million.

Tiger’s mansion has a 3,300-square-foot living quarters and a 6,400-square-foot multi-purpose building, connected by a glass covered walkway and underground tunnels. It has a huge gym to keep him in shape following several surgeries, jacuzzi, swimming pool, a special 100-feet lap pool and 60-feet diving pool.

The property also boasts a guest house, cinema room with tiered seating, games room, and he even has his own oxygen therapy room. On the grounds there’s also a four-hole golf course with six bunkers, basketball court, tennis court, and running track.

The golf course leads to a secluded dock which has its own private beach and boat house where he has his own $25 million yacht to indulge his passion for boating and fishing. He also flies around the world in his $54 million Gulfstream G550 private jet.

He also loves his cars, and owns a Lamborghini Murcielago worth around $400,000, a Bugatti Veyron which can be worth as much as $2 million, a Porsche Carrera GT, Mercedes S65 AMG, Cadillac XLR, and a Ferrari 512 TR.

Tiger’s restaurant

Not far from his lavish property is his high-end restaurant The Woods Jupiter that pitches itself as providing a ‘legendary sports bar experience’. It’s often frequented by his golfing mates Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas. Tiger launched the restaurant in 2015 and it reportedly cost him over $7 million.

It serves steaks, ribs, and seafood options, along with a selection of bourbons, cognacs and ryes, and there’s a cigar list for sophisticated diners.

Golf club membership

Tiger’s a member of one of the most exclusive golf clubs in America, Medalist Village, that features a luxury spa, an 18-hole course designed by Greg Norman, and costs around $100,000-per-year to be a member. It’s so popular among the golfing elite, it was reported that over 20 PGA Tour and LPGA Tour players are members at the club.

Tiger also part owns the palatial Albany Resort in the Bahamas, a magnificent ocean-side resort community with marina, luxury properties and championship golf course. Tiger is reported to have invested $100 million in the resort, along with other investors including golf enthusiast Justin Timberlake and Ernie Els, who designed the course there.

Not too bad for the little kid from California who started hitting golf balls at the age of two.
