Golf in Qatar

Camiral Golf & Wellness is one of Spain’s leading luxury golf resorts and one of the most extraordinary destinations in Europe for gastronomy and wine.
Less than an hour from Barcelona and close to the beaches of the Costa Brava, this fantastic resort offers two championship golf courses, a luxury 5-star hotel and contemporary 4-star hotel and a new state-of-the-art Wellness Centre.
The quality of food at Camiral Golf & Wellness reflects the famed local gastronomic scene of Catalunya. Nestled in pine forests just 15 minutes from the historic town of Girona, the resort is set in a region filled with Michelin-starred chefs. The resort also produces its own organic white, rose and red wine from its very own vineyard.

Formerly known as PGA Catalunya, the resort rebranded to Camiral Golf & Wellness in late 2022 following €5m of investment, transforming the existing spa into the new Wellness Centre, a far more comprehensive facility delivering integrative programmes as part of a 360-degree holistic wellness model.
Complimenting this world-class facility, the resort is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Stadium Course and the Tour Course. Both are beautiful woodland layouts designed by Angel Gallardo with manicured rolling fairways and pretty lakes framed by pine tress and the Pyrenees mountains.

The Stadium Course held the Spanish Open on the European Tour in 2000, 2009 and 2014, while the slightly easier Tour Course co-hosted the European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage between 2008-16. After a round of golf or a day of indulgence at the Wellness Centre, guests have four excellent dining options to choose from.

1477 Restaurant is based on high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients cooked over the grill where diners can pick from a variety of meats and fish complemented by a diverse selection of side dishes. The Club Cafe is the resort’s informal Clubhouse Bistro, located between the golf courses, which offers classic dishes and local favourites made with the freshest ingredients. It’s a bold and modern interpretation of the traditional clubhouses with a sunny terrace overlooking the Stadium Course and the Montseny Massif mountain range.
Bella’s offers a Mediterranean-inspired menu which includes freshly made rustic pizzas using fresh seasonal ingredients from the kitchen garden, baked in-house daily on homemade ciabatta-style slow-proved dough. For something lighter, the Lounge Bar offers local Catalan dishes and bar food as well as a menu of exclusive cocktails and a selection of the finest gins, vodkas, brandies, cognacs, tequilas and whiskeys from the around the world. In addition to these wonderful options, the Pool Bar offers poolside snacks, ice creams and cocktails.

The resort also has its own vineyards after embarking on a project to produce it’s own organic wine in 2017 when the first vines of Chardonnay, Xarel·lo, Syrah and black and white Garnacha were planted. Today, Camiral Golf & Wellness produces white, rosé, and red wine with organic certification. Guest can also enjoy wine tasting with experts and visit the wineries of the Emporda Wine Route, one of the richest wine routes in Spain which surrounds the resort.

The resort has two hotel options, the five-star Hotel Camiral and the contemporary four-star Lavida Hotel. Hotel Camiral blends modern aesthetics and natural furnishings with 138 rooms and living spaces that are luxurious and tastefully elegant. Built in a low-rise art deco style, the rooms come with views over the swimming pool, golf course or driving range. Lavida Hotel is a 50-room haven with modern décor, high-tech features and elegant details, buzzing communal spaces, a swimming pool and private balconies with golf course views.
