Many places boast that they are luxurious and offer a great escape from the stresses of modern life. It’s an attractive prospect. However, not many can compete with the elegant escapism that you get at Finca Cortesin. The staff at this opulent, yet understated, destination are here to ensure your happiness. You will leave Finca Cortesin rested and recharged, with many fond memories.
One of the first signs of a quality golf course is the tournaments that it has hosted. On this front Finca Cortesin has a great feather in its cap as it was once the host to the Volvo Match Play on the European Tour. In its final year at the course, 2012, the event was won by All Square Ambassador Nicolas Colsaerts.

Cabell Robinson designed this championship course. In fact, the acclaimed golf architect has described it as one of the finest works of his career. The layout boasts beautiful views from its hilltop position. Expect to take a lot of pictures when you play here! The course has been designed to give the golfer 18 unique and distinct holes, while the comprehensive choice of tees will ensure that you can enjoy the course no matter, whatever level you play at. Marble white sand bunkers protect the greens and will demand good approach shots from you.
In 2017, Finca Cortesin undertook a major renovation of their greens, becoming the first course in Spain to replace all the putting surfaces with a particular type of Ultradwarf Bermuda grass. Ultradwarf Bermuda is a special species developed for hot climates. It is more environmentally friendly and this specific strain is most noted for creating a uniform playing surface. Here you have a great example of a golf venue committed to the constant pursuit of improvement.
The boutique hotel at Finca Cortesin has a traditional Mediterranean-feel with all the contemporary features you would expect. This is a paradise of privacy and one where everyone will feel like the most important person in the world. The junior suites at the hotel have a unique fusion of Spanish and Asian decor and come with their own entrance hallway. The rooms sit nicely around the courtyard too.
The whitewashed Andalusian-style building has a homely feel about it. It is a rare property that has the ability to give guests the feeling of complete comfort whilst still being elegant and glamorous. The choice of five different restaurants at the hotel will also guarantee an unsurpassed culinary experience. The most highly-acclaimed restaurant is Kabuki Raw, a fine-fining Japanese affair. Kabuki Raw is about taking the finest raw ingredients and creating a unique culinary experience through the influence of Japanese and Spanish flavours.

Another fine restaurant at the hotel is El Jardín de Lutz. This is an establishment that is firmly rooted in its Spanish heritage and tradition. With high ceilings and traditional decor, it is like taking a step back in time. The terrace features views of the Mediterranean and is decorated with 1000-year-old olive trees. The cuisine at El Jardín de Lutz is about blending classic traditions with modern culinary concepts.

If you want to take advantage of the great climate in the Malaga region then the Beach Club is the place to go. The atmosphere here is of exclusivity and elegance. Relax in your own private beach space under the sun with great food and cocktails on hand at the on-site restaurant. The 6,000m2 beach area includes features such as Balinese beds and a 35m infinity pool for you to relax and unwind.
The other great facility at Finca Cortesin is the Spa, with one of its highlights being the snow cave. It is the first of its kind in Spain and is an experience like no other, providing the perfect place to cool down after a round of golf in the sun! You’ll also enjoy the indoor heated and salted pool as well as the two outdoor pools.

This is an ongoing project at Finca Cortesin. The first phase of the real estate available was The Reserve, featuring 16 south-facing luxury villas. These modern villas come with features such as marble bathrooms and a private pool. You can even get the interior design team at Finca Cortesin to take care of the décor for you!

Finca Cortesin is a destination that will put a smile on your face. This is a place you can come and just relax as everything is taken care of. From the golf course to the spa and everything in between. This is a facility of the highest quality and one you will never forget.
