What’s in Stephan Jaeger’s winning golf bag?

Stephan Jaeger won his first title in 135 starts on the PGA Tour at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, ending Scottie Scheffler’s winning run. Here’s his club set-up.

A three-under 67 final round at Memorial Park Golf Course saw the 34-year-old win by one stroke on 12 under, with world number one Scheffler, hoping for a third straight win, missing a five-foot putt on the last to force a play-off.

Scheffler had won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship back-to-back, and his missed putt on 18 was his first inside seven feet for the entire weekend.

German born Jaeger, a six-time winner on the second tier Korn Ferry Tour, has now finally broken his duck on the main tour.

What’s in the bag

Stephan Jaeger plays with a mixed bag of clubs. The two main things that stand out are his irons and wedges. His Ping S55 irons date all the way back to 2013, while his Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges are bent to slightly different angles.

His 50 degree is bent to a stronger 49, his 54 degree at 53, while his 56 degree is bent to a degree weaker at 57 degrees.
