Exciting golf brands 2024

Jason Day has signed with apparel company Malbon Golf, one of the exciting newer brands set to make waves in 2024. This year will also see the return of a legend.

Day, the Australian former world No.1 golfer, is starting 2024 with what some traditionalists might call a controversial new look having spent almost the entire last decade wearing Nike clothing.

The 36-year-old will become Malbon Golf‘s first ambassador on the PGA Tour, with women’s current world No.8 Charley Hull also wearing the brand’s eye-catching clothing on the LPGA Tour.

Day, the 2015 PGA Championship winner, said. “I’m excited to be able to go outside of the box and wear something that’s dramatically different than what everyone is used to seeing in golf today.”

Malbon Golf was established in 2017 in Los Angeles by culture and golf enthusiasts Stephen and Erica Malbon and has become known for its streetwear-inspired clothing.

They say Malbon is “the lifestyle brand inspired by the game of golf”, and they want to “inspire today’s youth to participate in the greatest game on earth”.

The brand’s designs of looser-fitting tops reminiscent of the shirts Tiger Woods wore early in his career and patterned pants are pushing the boundaries of what is deemed ‘acceptable’ golf attire. Hoodies and linen shirts are also among Malbon’s designs.
