Ireland’s Ring of Kerry: A Legendary Golf Journey

PGA Tour star Tommy Fleetwood is the new ambassador for the TAG Heuer Golf Edition smartwatch and Golf app. Here’s why the watch is the perfect companion for golfers.
The 30-year old Englishman, a five-time winner on the European Tour and a member of the victorious 2018 European Ryder Cup team, will wear the TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition watch on tour and work with the brand’s software engineers to further develop the TAG Heuer Golf app, currently used by over 200,000 golfers around the world since its launch in 2019.

The TAG Heuer Golf app is optimized for use with the TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition smartwatch and is available for free to everyone on iOS and Android. The app is packed with features to help golfers of all abilities master any golf course, including 3D mapping of over 40,000 courses, distance to hazards, shot tracking, scorecards, pro stats and a Driving Zone function which displays where previous tee shots ended up and suggests the optimum landing area to target.
Recent updates to the app include 3D map improvements with more detail added to water, rough and fairways and assets including trees and walls. Another new feature is the club recommendation tool. The app will suggest the club based on distance for the particular shot as the user moves the target on the map. The distance for each of the user’s clubs can be pre-programmed and the app will then make its recommendations taking recorded shots into consideration. The app also now shows the score in stroke play, stableford, or match play, making the watch the perfect companion for friendly rounds as well as competitions.

The TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition, launched in June of 2020, quickly became the smartwatch of choice for the global golfing community. Now the brand has revamped and upgraded the popular watch, with improved 2D mapping which features more details, including forests and single trees, and the innovative club recommendation tool. And for players who wish to play with both their TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition watch and their smartphone, a new built-in Bluetooth connection allows for faster synchronization.
It has an OLED touchscreen, built-in GPS and ultra-lightweight 45mm black titanium case. It’s presented on a white rubber strap with green stitching and a texture that resembles the surface pattern on a golf ball. It also comes with a black perforated rubber strap alternative, which has an interchangeable bracelet system, for daily wear. Delivered in exclusive packaging, the TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition comes with a dedicated travel pouch and golf accessory box.
The watch is complemented by the TAG Heuer mobile companion app that allows for even greater personalisation and insights into the wearer’s other sport activities, such as running, cycling or fitness. TAG Heuer has also added a new Wellness App which helps wearers stay fit and in good shape while maintaining their lifestyles.
