Rovos Rail Experience

Billy Horschel beat Rory McIlroy in a play-off to win the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in England. Here’s what the American had in the bag.
Horschel, McIlroy and Thriston Lawrence all finished tied at the top of the leaderboard on 20 under, before Lawrence found the water at the first play-off hole.
Second time down the 18th at Wentworth’s West Course, McIlroy and Horschel both found the green in two, but it was Horschel, winner of this event in 2021, who made his long putt for eagle.

For McIlroy, the 2014 champion, it was another near miss after being beaten into second place at last week’s Irish Open at Royal County Down.
Horschel used to be a PXG staffer, but now he’s a free agent and plays with mostly Titleist clubs. At the top of his bag he goes for the brand’s new driver range, the GT3, but sticks with his Tileist TSi2 fairway woods.

He uses a combination set of irons, going for the Titleist T100s for his long irons and the Titleist 620 MBs for the shorter ones.
He then carries three Vokey Design SM10 wedges, the Ping Sigma 2 Tyne 4 putter and the popular Titleist Pro V1x ball.
