What’s in Max Homa’s winning golf bag?

Max Homa won the Farmers Insurance Open after a six-under-par final round of 66, edging out Keegan Bradley and Collin Morikawa. Here’s the equipment he used.

The American carded seven birdies and a bogey to finish on 13 under at Torrey Pines in San Diego. The 32-year-old won by two strokes ahead of Bradley, who shot a 66, and three ahead of Morikawa (69).

Homa plays with a full complement of Titleist clubs. Starting with the driver, he uses a Titleist TSR3, which replaced the TSi3, TS3 and TS4 models he used in 2021.

For his fairway woods, one is a Titleist TSR3 3-wood, and then somewhat unusually he carries a TSR2 7-wood with 21 degrees of loft. In the past, he has carried an 818H2 hybrid or a Titleist U500 utility iron.

He has then gone for a Titleist T100S four and T100 five-iron, and Titleist 620MB‘s from six down to nine-iron. The 620MB’s were released in 2019 and feature a classic design with a progressive blade length throughout the set. They also have a Tour-refined sole that improves turf interaction for better ball striking from different lies.

After using SM8‘s, he now uses Vokey SM9 wedges with 46, 50, 56 and 60 degrees of loft, before rounding off his bag with the Scotty Cameron T-5.5 prototype putter and the 2023 Titleist Pro V1 ball. He has been using the Pro V1 for his entire professional career.
