What’s in Rasmus Hojgaard’s winning golf bag?

Rasmus Hojgaard won the Irish Open by one shot ahead of Rory McIlroy who was denied victory in front of his home fans. Here’s what the Dane had in the bag.

McIlroy led by four early into his final round at Royal County Down in Northern Ireland, but bogies at 15 and 17 dented his hopes. Hojgaard birdied four of the last five to shoot 65 to claim his fifth DP World Tour title.

Hojgaard finished on 9-under, with McIlroy on 8-under, a shot ahead of Italy’s Matteo Manassero.

What’s in the bag

Rasmus and his brother Nicolai Hojgaard signed with Callaway in 2023. The Danish twins began using Callaway and Odyssey products after securing the deal, including the Paradym driver and the Chrome Soft golf ball. They also both put the Callaway 2023 MB Proto irons in the bag.

The Dane has updated his golf bag since with new Callaway products. The brand revealed its 2024 Paradym Ai Smoke drivers, fairway woods, irons and hybrids – all designed using player data and artificial intelligence – in February.

A month earlier, the brand launched its new Apex Pro Series range, consisting of four irons as well as a utility iron and utility wood. In July 2024, Callaway launched the new Opus wedges for golfers who want more spin and lower launch.
