All Square®, the new social network for golfers, is celebrating this month’s Ryder Cup matches at Gleneagles, Scotland, by hosting a series of free-to-enter competitions running throughout September.
Accessed via a special entry portal (WWW.ALLSQUARE-MATCHPLAY.COM), the competitions mark the beginning of All Square®’s ‘Matchplay Month’ which looks to harness the growing excitement of golfers in the run-up to, and during, The Ryder Cup (September 23-28).
All Square® is a new digital platform for golfers to connect and share their experiences online or via a free iPhone smartphone app, whilst also giving golf clubs the opportunity to market to a growing social media audience.
Patrick Rahme, Co-Founder and CEO of All Square®, said: “The Ryder Cup is the biggest, high-profile golf team event in the world and it is right that All Square®, the fast-growing global community exclusively for golfers, recognises and celebrates the beginning of the 2014 matches in Scotland, the spiritual home of the game.”
Each week throughout September, and promoted via Facebook and Twitter, golfers visiting the site will be given a different competition to enter, starting with an opportunity to win a two-night break for two people at World Top 100 venue, PGA Catalunya Resort, in Spain – including an opportunity to play the world-renowned Stadium Course, voted Spain’s no.1 golf course.
Competitions to win a Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Driver, followed by an exclusive abacus® Ryder Cup Collection outfit, and then, finally, a limited edition Valedictorian Putter, complete a September full of special prizes.
“The Ryder Cup always brings out the competitive spirit in all golfers and we hope All Square®’s ‘Matchplay Month’ will give everyone the chance to taste success in September,” added Rahme.
All Square® was designed to harness the passion for golf on a community level and connect the power of people’s love of the game on one free, accessible and engaging social media platform.
By downloading the unique All Square® iPhone app from the App Store, golfers can share and compare their golf experiences worldwide and connect with friends, upload photos and videos, post comments and receive instant notifications, all recorded on a personal timeline.
