How to Build the Perfect Golf & Wine Vacation in Spain

Four-time European Tour winner Thomas Pieters has also recorded top 10 finishes at the Masters and the PGA Championship. Let’s take a nose in his golf bag to see what equipment he is using this season.
The 6′ 4” Belgian is looking to regain the form that won him a place on the 2016 Ryder Cup team at Hazeltine where he collected four points from five matches.
Callaway Rogue (9 degrees)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro Orange 70 TX

The 28-year-old carries a Callaway Rogue driver. Callaway says this driver delivers exceptional ball speed from the combination of new Jailbreak Technology and X-Face VFT plus increased MOI.
He is one the European Tour’s big hitters and currently ranks 14th in driving distance, averaging 323 yards.
Callaway Rogue (15 degrees)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Tensei CK 80 TX

Pieters also goes with a Rogue for his fairway wood. According to Callaway, the Rogue is the most powerful fairway wood they have ever created.
Callaway X Forged 18 (3-PW)
Shaft: True Temper Project X 6.5

For his irons, Pieters goes with the Callaway X Forged 18 models which go from 3-iron down to pitching wedge. He prefers to carry a 3-iron rather than a utility club.
In 2020, Pieters has hit 72% of greens in regulation. This is only just above the Tour average and is a part of his game he’ll be looking to improve on as the season progresses.
Callaway Mack Daddy 4 (48 degrees, 52 degrees, 56 degrees)
Shafts: True Temper Project X 6.5, True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 (58 degrees)

He goes with three wedges of different lofts, but the 58 degree wedge has a different shaft.

His putter is a limited edition Odyssey Lucky 777, which features a unique Copper Rose finish and a one-off gold PVD Fusion RX insert. He is known as a good putter and this season he ranks just outside the top 10 on Tour in putts per greens in regulation.
Pieters uses the Callaway Chrome Soft X. Xander Schauffele is among the other top professionals to use this ball.
