Xander Schauffele won his sixth PGA Tour title at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. Let’s take a look at the club set-up he used to get the job done.
The American celebrated a three-stroke swing on the final hole with a birdie after rookie Sahith Theegala made a double bogey minutes earlier.
The 28-year-old finished with a 2-under 68 in Connecticut for a 19-under 261 total, two ahead of Theegala and J.T. Poston. He played with nearly a full set of Callaway clubs along with a couple of Titleist wedges.
At the top of the bag he had the new Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond S driver, replacing the Callaway Epic Speed Triple Diamond he had been using.
Then he had an Epic Speed Triple Diamond three-wood along with an Apex UW seven-wood, instead of the two Mavrik Sub Zero models he had previously.
For his irons, he recently upgraded his Callaway Apex Pro prototypes to a set of Apex TCB prototypes, also used by fellow PGA Tour pro Jon Rahm.
In terms of his wedges, Schauffele had a 52° Callaway Jaws Raw gap wedge as well as a 56° Titleist Vokey Design SM6 sand wedge and a 60° Titleist Vokey Design SM9 lob wedge.
Schauffele is known to change his putter from time to time, having used an Odyssey Stroke Lab Tuttle, an Odyssey Toulon Design prototype and a Stroke Lab 7. Now he is going for an Odyssey O-Works #7 CH Red.
Finally, he used a Callaway Chrome Soft X ball, as used by Rahm and Sam Burns.
