Keegan Bradley claimed a sixth win on the PGA Tour with victory at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut. It was a mixed bag for the Srixon/Cleveland staffer.
The 2011 PGA champion shot a final-round two-under-par 68 at TPC River Highlands to finish on 23 under, three ahead of fellow Americans Zac Flair and Brian Harman.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler shot a five-under 65 to finish four shots off the lead in a share of fourth place, while Rory McIlroy finished on 18 under in a share of seventh.
Bradley is a Srixon/Cleveland staff player, but has a mixed bags of clubs. Over the years, for his driver, he has used a TaylorMade SIM, Stealth Plus, Srixon ZX5 and Ping G430, but right now he has settled on a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus. It’s the lowest spinning model in the range and is aimed at faster swing speeds and better ball strikers.
He then uses a TaylorMade SIM2 Max fairway wood with 16.5 degrees of loft. He then opts for a Srixon ZX Mk II three iron, two Srixon ZX5 four and five irons, and ZX7’s from six-iron down to pitching wedge.
His two Cleveland RTX ZipCore wedges have 52 and 58 degrees of loft, and for his putter he goes with an Odyssey Versa Jailbird, a mallet design with alternating black and white stripes on the head to help with alignment.
