LPGA Season 2026 Calendar: A Global Showcase of Women’s Golf

The 2026 LPGA Tour season promises to be one of the most ambitious and international in the history of women’s professional golf. With 33 tournaments (31 official) spread across 13 countries and 13 U.S. states, and a record-breaking total prize fund exceeding $132 million, the LPGA continues to strengthen its position as the most global tour in professional golf.

From the opening tee shots in Florida to the season-ending drama in Naples, the 2026 campaign is designed as a true world tour — blending tradition, new venues, major championships, and the emotional return of the Solheim Cup.

A Season That Starts with Celebration and Momentum

Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions LPGA

The year begins in Florida with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, played from January 29 to February 1 at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. This unique event brings together winners from the previous season and sets the tone for a year focused on elite performance and global storytelling.

From there, the LPGA heads into its traditional and extremely popular Asian swing. The Honda LPGA Thailand takes place from February 19 to 22, followed by the prestigious HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore from February 26 to March 1, and then the Blue Bay LPGA in China from March 5 to 8.

The tour then returns to the United States for a run of important spring tournaments, including the Fortinet Founders Cup from March 19 to 22 and the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass from March 26 to 29, as players begin building form and momentum ahead of the major season.

Spring Builds Toward the First Major of the Year

LPGA The Chevron Championship

April marks a significant shift in intensity. The JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro is played from April 16 to 19, serving as one of the key warm-up events before the first major of the season.

The Chevron Championship, the first women’s major of 2026, is staged from April 23 to 26 at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Its new home reflects the LPGA’s ambition to bring women’s golf into larger urban markets and onto bigger sporting stages. (Note: This venue was officially confirmed on January 7, 2026, after initially being listed as TBD in the November 2025 schedule release.)

Immediately after, the tour travels to Mexico for the Mexico Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, held from April 30 to May 3, continuing the LPGA’s strong presence in premium international destinations.

May is packed with high-quality tournaments across the United States, including the Mizuho Americas Open (May 7-10), the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G (May 14-17), and the ShopRite LPGA Classic powered by Wakefern (May 29-31), as the world’s best players refine their games for the heart of the major season.

Summer Arrives with Major Championship Drama

U.S. Women’s Open

June is one of the most important months on the entire LPGA calendar. It begins with the U.S. Women’s Open, played from June 4 to 7 at the iconic Riviera Country Club — one of the most prestigious venues in American golf.

Later in the month, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship takes place from June 25 to 28 at Hazeltine National, a course known for hosting some of the biggest events in golf history. Between those two giants, fans will also see the Dow Championship (team format, June 11-14 at Midland Country Club) and the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give (June 18-21).

These tournaments often define the season, not only because of their prize money and prestige, but because they separate good seasons from truly great ones.

Europe Takes Center Stage

Amundi Evian Championship

July and early August belong to Europe and links golf. The Amundi Evian Championship, the fourth major of the season, is played from July 9 to 12 in the French Alps, combining breathtaking scenery with major championship pressure.

Two weeks later, the LPGA moves to Scotland for the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open from July 23 to 26, followed immediately by the season’s final major: the AIG Women’s Open, played from July 30 to August 2 at Royal Lytham & St Annes in England.

This stretch is often the most romantic and unpredictable part of the season, where weather, history, and course design combine to produce unforgettable champions.

The Emotional Peak: The Solheim Cup

LPGA Solheim Cup

September brings one of the most anticipated events in all of women’s golf: the Solheim Cup. The full event runs from September 7 to 13, 2026, with the main matches between the best players from Europe and the United States taking place from September 11 to 13 at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands.

Unlike regular LPGA tournaments, this is about pride, pressure, and team spirit. For many players, a Solheim Cup appearance is as meaningful as winning a major championship.

A Truly Global Race to the Finish

CME Group Tour Championship

After the Solheim Cup, the LPGA season enters its final, globe-trotting phase. The tour first returns to the United States with the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G (September 25-27 at Pinnacle Country Club, Rogers, Arkansas) and the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei (October 1-4 at Hoakalei Country Club, Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii). It then travels through Asia with events in China (Buick LPGA Shanghai, October 15-18), Korea (BMW Ladies Championship, October 22-25), Malaysia (Maybank Championship, October 29-November 1), and Japan (TOTO Japan Classic, November 5-8), including the TOTO Japan Classic, one of the most popular stops on the calendar.

In November, the focus shifts back to the United States for events like The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican (November 12-15) and the ultimate season finale: the CME Group Tour Championship, played from November 19 to 22 at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. This is where the Race to the CME Globe is decided, and where the season’s biggest prize pools are on the line.

The year officially concludes with the Grant Thornton Invitational from December 11 to 13, a high-profile mixed-team event that serves as a celebratory epilogue to a long and demanding season.

Why the 2026 Season Matters

Victory at LPGA Championship

The 2026 LPGA calendar is more than a schedule — it is a statement. With record prize money, an increasingly international footprint, and stronger venues than ever before, the LPGA continues to prove that women’s golf is not just growing, but thriving.

For fans, it’s a global journey. For players, it’s a marathon of excellence. And for the sport, it’s another powerful step forward.
