Belek, Turkey: All-inclusive golf destination
Millbrook Resort & Country Club on New Zealand‘s South Island offers a host of five-star accommodation options, 27 holes of world-class golf, a beautiful spa, and fine dining.
Close to the historic settlement of Arrowtown and the world renowned adrenalin playground of Queenstown, Millbrook combines indulgent luxury with adventure against a backdrop of incredible mountainous scenery. The resort is just a 20 minutes’ drive from Queenstown International Airport and offers airport transfer and complimentary shuttle service to Arrowtown and central Queenstown.
Set in a natural alpine amphitheatre beneath the Remarkables Mountain Range, Millbrook‘s 27 hole golf course makes the most of the dramatic natural terrain. The Remarkables Nine and The Arrow Nine were designed by New Zealand golfing legend Sir Bob Charles, and in 2010 double New Zealand Open champion Greg Turner added the Coronet Nine. Since 2014 the resort has co-hosted the New Zealand Open on the PGA Tour of Australasia along with neighbouring resort The Hills.
The holes at all three nines blend naturally with the incredible scenery and offer a variety of natural hazards including tussocks and streams, and five different tee positions provide enjoyment for novice to expert players. Almost every hole will stop you in your tracks to take in the breathtaking surroundings.
Guests are spoilt for choice and can pick from five types of luxurious accommodation, all situated in a secluded and tranquil setting. There are tastefully designed Deluxe Studios, One and Two Bedroom Suites, Resort Homes and Luxury Retreats, all complementing the character of the surrounding countryside. All options are spacious with large windows and balconies that take advantage of the stunning views that surround the entire 650-acre resort.
The resort combined offers 160 rooms and can cater up to 350 people, each with a style of luxury accommodation to suit them. Millbrook also offers a wide range of real estate for sale all on free hold titles, from two bedroom villas to expansive family homes.
The stunning on-site spa has been perfectly designed to replenish and create an experience of wellness and relaxation for mind, body and soul. You won’t find many better spa experiences anywhere. There’s a full range of massages, therapies, treatments and experiences. Guests can also take advantage of the gym facilities, expert-led group fitness classes and personal training options whilst visiting Millbrook.
There’s a beautiful 25m indoor heated swimming pool surrounded by sliding glass doors, saunas and three outdoor heated pools to relax in. There’s also three tennis courts and tennis coaching.
Millbrook Resort offers multiple onsite restaurants catering for your every need. There’s the Clubhouse overlooking the greens for coffee and buffet breakfast, while the Hole In One Cafe offers all day dining.
Enjoy award-winning Japanese food at Kobe Cuisine, and Smithy’s Smoke House is a relaxed bar in an alfresco setting, serving a range of local and international beer and wine. The main restaurant, The Millhouse, offers a seasonal menu of contemporary New Zealand cuisine.
Millbrook boasts a variety of experiences for everyone including garden tours, bike hire, wine and brewery tours and games for the kids. But you can also make the most of the close proximity to adventure capital Queenstown, and try hiking, bungee jumping, skiing, paragliding, skydiving, and hot-air ballooning.
