The Masters 2024: Preview & FAQs
Let’s take a look at the complete list of golf equipment that J.J. Spaun used to win the 2022 Valero Texas Open, his first career PGA Tour title.
The 31-year-old became the first player since Tiger Woods at the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines to start a final round of a PGA Tour event with a double bogey and then go on to win.
Ranked all the way down at 584 last year, he’s now shot up to 103 in the official golf world rankings and will play in the 2022 Masters for the first time.
The American was third in putts per green in regulation at TPC San Antonio, using his Scotty Cameron by Titleist prototype, and did not miss a putt inside 10 feet over the final 36 holes.
He also ranked 10th in strokes gained/off-the-tee, picking up nearly three shots on the field, using his Ping G425 LST driver (the low-spin version of the G425 line) with 9-degree loft and Fujikura Ventus Black 6X shaft.
