WITB: Anthony Kim’s Long-Awaited Return to Glory in Adelaide

Kurt Kitayama held off big names including Rory McIlroy to win his first PGA Tour title with victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Here’s the equipment he used.
The American shot an even-par final round of 72 to finish on nine-under, one shot ahead of McIlroy and Harris English, and a further stroke ahead of Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth, Scottie Scheffler and Tyrrell Hatton.
The results means Kitayama and English have qualified for The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool.

Kitayama has been using TaylorMade drivers for a few seasons, going from the M5, SIM and SIM2 to the model he now uses, the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus, also used by Scheffler.
The Stealth 2 Plus has a weight track which can be moved towards the toe or heel for dialling in ball flight and controlling shot shape. It’s the lowest spinning model in the range and is aimed at faster swing speeds and better ball strikers.
He then carries two TaylorMade fairway woods, a Stealth 2 3-wood and Stealth 2 7-wood, both fitted with Graphite Design shafts.
He then mixes it up for his irons and wedges, with TaylorMade P7MC irons for his 4 to 6 irons, and P7MB‘s for his 7 to pitching wedge. Two of his wedges are TaylorMade Milled Grind 3 models at 52 and 56 degrees of loft, and he uses a Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks Prototype at 60 degrees.
Finally he opts for a TaylorMade Spider X putter, also used by McIlroy.
