What’s in Chris Kirk’s winning golf bag?

Chris Kirk used a mixed bag of clubs to win The Sentry in Hawaii, with the entire field joining Sungjae Im in setting incredible records.

It was the first of eight PGA Tour Signature Events this year, with more ranking points and prize money on offer. The American took home the whopping $3.6m first prize.

The 38-year-old finished on 29-under at the Plantation Course in Kapalua, Hawaii, a stroke ahead of Sahith Theegala with Jordan Spieth a further shot back in third.

It was Kirk’s first PGA Tour title since the Honda Classic in 2023 and his sixth in total.

Record breakers

The field as a whole delivered the lowest scoring average (66.67) since PGA Tour records began, while Sungjae Im’s (T5) 34 birdies during the week set a PGA Tour record for the most in a 72-hole tournament.

England’s Justin Rose (T40) equalled the course record after registering 12 birdies in a final-round bogey-free 61 on the par-73 course.

What’s in the bag?

Kirk has different brands featuring in his bag. At the top he has a Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond driver with 10.7 degrees of loft. This driver has a 14g back weight which can be positioned in the front for lower spin and more workability.

He then uses two TaylorMade Stealth fairway woods, with 15 and 18 degrees of loft. For his irons, he carries a Callaway Apex Pro ‘21 for his four-iron, before changing to a black set of Callaway Apex CB’s from 2018 for his five- to nine-iron.

He then mixes Callaway (Jaws MD5 & Jaws Raw) and Titleist (Vokey Design SM9) for his wedges. Finally, he has an Odyssey Ai One Milled Six T CH putter.
