Emaar South Golf Course in Dubai is a brand new 18-hole course, part of a huge new residential and leisure development, soon to be joined by a Tom Fazio design.
This new 18-hole golf development will be the second UAE golf course designed for Emaar, the Emirati real estate development company, by European Golf Design, after Dubai Hills Golf Club which opened in November 2018.

A natural desert-styled track with large rolling greens, the course is laid out in two loops of nine and winds through the new Emaar South residential community. Emaar South features a large variety of luxurious villas, parks, restaurants and health clubs and is part of the wider Dubai South development.
Dubai South is an emerging 145 square-kilometre, master-planned city, the largest urban masterplan development in the UAE. It offers a diverse range of residential communities and world-class leisure facilities to suit different lifestyles.

The new development lies just five minutes from Al Maktoum Airport, 15 minutes from Expo City Dubai, 25 minutes from Dubai Marina, 35 minutes from Downtown Dubai, and 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

Neighbouring Emaar South Golf Course, legendary architect Tom Fazio will design his first golf course in the United Arab Emirates at Discovery Dunes. Fazio has designed or remodelled over 200 courses around the world including Kiawah Island, PGA National and Pinehurst Resort.
Discovery Dunes is owned by Discovery Land Company, whose portfolio of international properties includes CostaTerra in Portugal, which boasts the Fazio-designed Terras da Comporta golf course.

As well as the 18-hole golf course, Discovery Dunes will also boast mansions, villas and other leisure amenities including a wellness centre, an equestrian centre, an adventure park and a kid’s club.
