Max Homa claimed a second PGA Tour title of the season at the Wells Fargo Championship following some subtle equipment changes earlier this year. Let’s take a look inside his winning golf bag.
The American overturned a two-stroke deficit during the final round at TPC Potomac in Maryland with a 2-under 68 to finish on 8-under, two clear of Keegan Bradley, Cameron Young and Matt Fitzpatrick.
The 31-year-old has made some equipment changes since his last win at the Fortinet Championship in September. He uses the same driver, the Titleist TSi3, but it now has additional loft and a different shaft, the popular Fujikura Ventus range, choosing the low flight, low spin Black model.

Homa unusually uses a split set of irons and wedges covering four Titleist models: a player’s distance Titleist T100S 4-iron, the T100 players iron for the 5-iron, the muscleback-blade 620 MB for the 6- through 9-iron, and Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges that were launched earlier this year. Though they all have KBS Tour $-Taper 130X black steel shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet cord grips.
His putter is a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 tour prototype mallet that he used to rank fourth in strokes gained/putting at the Wells Fargo, and a Titleist Pro V1 ball. Titleist golf balls have featured in 15 PGA Tour wins from 20 events played so far in 2022.
