Exploring Rwanda’s Golf Courses and Their Regional Richness

Check out the new putters on the market from PXG, Ping, Bettinardi, and a 3D-printed model from Cobra. Take your putting game to a new level in 2021.

Land your ball on the green, take one putt and you’re done. A nice thought, and One & Done might help make it a reality. It’s a milled mallet putter with prominent alignment aids, bi-material construction, ultra-deep CG and adjustable sole weights to optimize MOI, balance and consistency. The pyramid face pattern with reduced groove depths improves initial ball velocity, launch angle, spin rates and skid distance. Based on the hosel selected, (plumber’s neck, heel shafted, double bend, or armlock), fine-tuning can alter the overall head weight.

Blackjack is a 100% milled mallet with bi-material construction for exceptional stability. The pyramid face pattern has been re-engineered for maximum ball-roll performance, and the groove depth has been adjusted for optimized feel. These putters are available with four hosel configurations: heel-shafted, plumber’s neck, double bend or armlock. Each putter has four weight ports in the sole that allow fitters to increase or decrease the swing weight of the club based on its length and golfers’ preferences.

Cobra has released their first putter in partnership with HP – and it’s 3D printed! KING Supersport-35 is the first commercialized putter created using HP Metal Jet Technology, a revolutionary advancement in manufacturing which introduces innovative possibilities for golf club design, testing and performance. The 3D printed body and lattice design optimizes weighting to deliver Cobra’s highest MOI in a blade shape. Combined with SIK Face Technology, it produces consistent and accurate roll for every putting stroke.

Do you have a slight arc in your putting stroke, or a tendency to pull putts? Then the Ping Limited Edition PLD Prime Tyne 4 is designed for you. It’s a high MOI mallet and a smaller, more compact variant of the forgiving, high-MOI Tyne 4. It features a milled S25C carbon steel body with a milled T6 6061 aluminum hosel, and an attractive black PVD finish. The shaft is Stealth Stepless Steel and the grip is a Ping PP58 Black Midsize.
Bettinardi Golf has launched their new putter lines, the 2021 StudioStock, Queen B Series, and Inovai 7.0. All three have been refined using Tour players’ feedback and feature a variety of face milling technologies.
Studio Stock

This series features the all-new Roll Control Face, an asymmetrical design groove profile for more topspin at impact and early pure ball roll. It’s milled into the putter head giving exceptional feel and audible feedback. Milled from 303 stainless steel, the line-up features 4 different models in 7 variations: the SS7 compact half-moon mallet (available in LH); the classic heel-toe weighted SS17 blade with Bettinardi’s first-ever Tri-sole design in a production putter; the traditional SS18 blade with a plumbers neck that sits slightly back; and the Tour-validated classic wide-bodied, near face-balanced SS28 blade (available in spud neck, center shaft, and armlock).
Queen B

This series is available in three models, QB6, QB11 and QB12. Each was precision-milled from a single block of Soft Carbon Steel to 362 grams and completed in a Rose Gold PVD finish. The multi-Tour winning, wide-bodied QB6 blade is an update from a previous putter line, but the compact QB11 mallet with the signature Bettinardi crescent neck, and the traditional-style QB12 blade with plumbers neck are new additions. The series features newly-softened edges designed to provide optimized visuals at address, and Micro Honeycomb Face Milling for players who prefer a firm, responsive feel at impact.
Inovai 7.0

The Inovai 7.0 mallet series is the highest MOI putter ever produced by Bettinardi. The design positions more weight in the rear of the head, upping overall forgiveness and stability characteristics. The 7.0 comes with three distinctive neck options: spud, slant and centre shaft. Each has Bettinardi’s F.I.T. (Feel Impact Technology) face milling for a better roll. The series is precision-milled from 303 Stainless Steel and 6061 Military-Grade Aluminum.
