Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort: Tuscany’s Championship Gem

During this week’s interview, we had a nice chat with Alexandre Masson, a passionate golfer who runs the marketing department of the Golf du Médoc Resort and enjoys using All Square. Find out what happened when he broke the kitchen window while playing golf in his backyard, his favorite players and much more.
1. ABOUT GOLF
To start, can you tell us how you first got into golf?
My parents offered me my first plastic clubs when I was 2 years old. I used to play in the backyard until I broke the kitchen window! My mother enrolled me in a real golf school and I started to play every day with my golfing friends !
What would make golf more fun?
Playing at night on indoor golf courses with good music and Belgian beer!
Your funniest golf experience?
I’ve had all my funniest golf experiences when I was playing on a golf team. One time, we had to play 4 days in a row on a golf course situated in Brittany, France. During the 4 days we only played 2 hours because of the bad weather! We spent our time playing cards in the clubhouse waiting for the sun to come out! We had a really good time!
Your top 3 golf destinations?
I did not play many golf courses abroad but I would say New Zealand, Portugal and Scotland!
What is the golf flight of your dreams?
Tiger Woods because I grew up watching him, Paige Spiranac because she plays so well and Sergio Garcia.
2. ABOUT ALL SQUARE
How did you first discover All Square?
If I remember well, Max from All Square contacted me to introduce me the brand. Since then Golf du Médoc Resort and All Square had a nice relationship.
Complete the sentence: What I like the most about All Square is …
… The modern way to gather amateur and professional golfers on one unique platform. In addition, I really like the fact that All Square allows golf courses to promote their own brand to a very specific target of golfers. All Square has great potential to become a very powerful marketing tool to promote events and special offers at golf clubs.
Your favorite feature on All Square?
I like the easy way to connect with golfers around the world or in your home club. Following the activities of professional golfers is nice too!
Have you met new golfers through All Square?
Yes! I have met 2 golfers from Switzerland during an online contest ran by All Square.
3. RAPID FIRE, OFF THE CUFF QUESTIONS
Hitting long drives or sinking long putts?
Hitting long drives.
Having the round of your life or a hole-in-one?
Having the round of my life.
Early morning or late afternoon tee off?
Late afternoon of course.
The coolest player on Tour?
Gregory Havret, who else ☺
