Tee Off in Style: Park Hyatt Marrakech

Michael Thorbjornsen captured the biggest victory of his career by winning the 2026 Rocket Classic, securing his maiden PGA Tour title after a composed and confident performance at Detroit Golf Club. One of the most highly regarded young talents in American golf, the former Stanford standout showcased the all-around game that made him one of the world’s top amateurs. Combining powerful driving with precise iron play and a reliable putter, Michael Thorbjornsen handled the pressure over four rounds to earn a breakthrough win that could mark the beginning of a successful PGA Tour career.

The victory was built on a bag packed with trusted TaylorMade equipment. Thorbjornsen relied on a TaylorMade Qi4D LS driver to produce impressive distance off the tee, while a TaylorMade R7 Quad Mini Driver offered another versatile option from both the tee box and fairway. His TaylorMade P7CB irons delivered the accuracy needed on approach shots, complemented by MG4 wedges around the greens and a Spider Tour X putter that helped him convert crucial birdie opportunities throughout the week.

Thorbjornsen’s rise has been closely followed ever since his outstanding amateur career, which included multiple collegiate victories at Stanford and appearances in some of golf’s biggest championships before turning professional. Now, with his first PGA Tour trophy in hand, the 24-year-old has taken the next step in fulfilling his enormous potential. Here’s a closer look at the clubs Michael Thorbjornsen used to win the 2026 Rocket Classic.
