Best Multi-Country Golf Tours in Europe

Geoffrey Dezoppy is a passionate golfer from Belgium who lives in Luxembourg and plays at Golf de Preisch in France. That’s pretty international! He’s always perfectly dressed to swing his clubs and uses All Square to connect with like-minded golfers and share pictures on and off the course.
1. About Golf
To start, can you tell us how you first got into golf?
I first played golf during a student exchange program in Ireland back in 1992. I studied economics at Trinity College Dublin and when I didn’t have classes I joined my host family mum at the Killiney Golf Club, a 9-hole golf course with spectacular views of the Wicklow mountains, the City of Dublin and Dublin Bay. I found the game so hard but so beautiful, which is still my perspective today.
Your funniest golf experience?
Popping champagne on the course to celebrate my best friend Laurent’s 40th birthday. Golf brings me a lot in my life. Friends and fun are on top of the list!
What would you like to change in golf?
The only “problem” is that the course can take you so far away from the club house. Where the cold beer is stored…
Your 3 favorite courses?
My 3 favorite courses that I have played are The Diplomat Golf and Tennis Club in Florida, Golf Club des 7 Fontaines in Belgium and Golf International de Pont Royal in South of France.
The 3 courses on your bucket list?
The 3 courses I would like to play are the Gary Player Country Club in South Africa, PGA Catalunya in Spain and Wentworth Golf Club in England.
2.
How did you first discover All Square?
I discovered All Square when they won the Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award in April 2014. I closely follow the list of winners as it helps me identify the most exciting startups from around the globe. All Square is definitely one of the most exciting projects at the moment.
Complete the sentence: What I like most about All Square is…
… the interaction with fellow golfers both locally and internationally.
Your favorite feature on All Square?
I really enjoy sharing pictures while on the course.
3. Rapide Fire Questions
Hitting long drives or sinking long putts?
Hitting long drives, all day! Arnold Palmer used to say: “What other people may find in poetry or art museums, I find in the flight of a good drive.”
Your favorite golf brand?
Nike (clothing).
Team Europe or Team USA?
Team Europe.
Your favorite golf tournament to watch on TV?
The Ryder Cup. I am already excited for Hazeltine.
Your favorite player on Tour?
Thomas Pieters.
