Cameron Young’s Winning WITB at the 2026 Players Championship

Scottie Scheffler once again finished the season at the top, capturing the 2026 TOUR Championship and his second FedExCup title at East Lake. Starting the final round three shots behind Viktor Hovland, Scheffler produced a brilliant 4-under 66 to overturn the deficit and win by three strokes. His comeback began in spectacular fashion, with a 5-iron to within two inches of the hole on the second, followed by a 25-foot birdie at the fourth to quickly erase Hovland’s advantage. Six birdies in total helped Scheffler close out another statement victory and add a third PGA TOUR win to his 2026 season.

The victory was another milestone in a career that has developed at an extraordinary pace. Since turning professional in 2018, Scheffler has established himself as the dominant player of his generation, collecting 22 PGA TOUR victories along with multiple Masters titles, a PGA Championship, Olympic gold and now two FedExCup trophies. His consistency has been just as impressive as his ability to win, with the 2026 TOUR Championship marking his 13th PGA TOUR victory by three or more shots. At just 29 years old, Scheffler has already built a résumé that places him among the sport’s elite, while his latest victory further strengthened his position at the top of the world rankings.

Behind Scheffler’s remarkable run is an equipment setup that combines some of the latest TaylorMade technology with trusted clubs that have remained in his bag for years. At East Lake, he used a TaylorMade Qi4D driver, Qi10 3-wood and Qi4D 7-wood, followed by a Srixon ZU85 4-iron and TaylorMade P7TW irons from 5-iron through pitching wedge. His scoring setup featured Titleist Vokey SM8 and WedgeWorks SM9 wedges, while a TaylorMade Spider Tour X putter and Titleist Pro V1 golf ball completed the bag. Here’s a closer look at the clubs and equipment Scheffler used to claim another FedExCup victory.
