Jake Knapp held off Sami Valimaki to win his first ever PGA Tour title at the Mexico Open. Here’s his club set-up.
The American finished on 19 under at Vidanta Vallarta and has now gained entry into The Players, The Masters, PGA Championship and five remaining PGA Tour Signature Events.
The 29-year-old recovered from blowing a four-shot lead to shoot a final-round 71 to fend off Valimaki by two strokes.
Jake Knapp hit just two fairways in his final round, becoming the first PGA Tour player since 1983 to hit two or fewer fairways on a Sunday and win.
The PGA Tour now heads to Florida with the Cognizant Classic at PGA National. Rory McIlroy returns to the event he won in 2012.
Knapp uses a mixed bag of clubs with brands Ping, TaylorMade, Srixon and Titleist all represented.
