Thriston Lawrence continued his remarkable relationship with the Omega European Masters in 2026, producing one of the most memorable comebacks in the tournament’s history. Starting the final round six shots behind Paul Casey, the South African stormed through Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club with a spectacular eight-under 62 to reach 18-under par. Casey later joined him at the top, but Lawrence held his nerve in the playoff, eventually winning on the fourth extra hole to claim his third Omega European Masters title. The victory made him only the second player, after Seve Ballesteros, to win the prestigious Swiss event three times.
