All Square Itineraries: Your Golf Trip to Cyprus

All Square has designed the perfect itinerary for a golf holiday to Cyprus. You’ll play at four fantastic golf courses and stay at luxurious nearby hotels.

All four golf courses are within 20 minutes’ drive of Pafos International Airport and just over an hour from Larnaca International Airport. They are also all within 40 minutes of our chosen hotels, with one course at the hotel itself.

Aphrodite Hills Golf Club

The 18-hole PGA National course at Aphrodite Hills Resort is the first and only golf course in Cyprus carrying the prestigious PGA title. It opened in 2002 and is part of a luxury 290-room hotel development making it a great spot for a golf vacation. A clifftop course overlooking the ocean, it’s split into two by a large canyon which comes into play on the spectacular 3rd and 7th holes. The course has a classic Mediterranean feel with plenty of olive trees and there’s great variety with doglegs, horseshoe greens, cross bunkers and ponds at 10 and 18. There’s an impressive clubhouse, excellent golf academy and great practice facilities.

Secret Valley Golf Club

A fine course when it opened in 1996, it was elevated in 2013 when it was redesigned by Hans-Georg Erhardt and Snorri Vilhjalmsson of Golf and Land Design, with four-time Ryder Cup captain Tony Jacklin as chief architect. The par-71 layout plays through a spectacular rocky valley with mature trees and shrubs adorning the lower holes, while the upper terrain provides great ocean views. It’s strategic with testing fairways and unforgiving hazards, but guests will find it entertaining. Secret Valley also offers a fully stocked pro shop, pitching area and driving range.

Elea Golf Resort

Ranked by All Square as the best course in Cyprus, Elea Golf Resort was designed by five-time major winner Sir Nick Faldo and opened in 2010. Gloriously located above the Mediterranean just 2km away, it rolls through pretty countryside featuring olive trees. There’s an abundance of large bunkering, a Faldo hallmark, especially at hole 4 where large jigsaw-shaped bunkers lead to a tricky bridged green. Hole 17 is probably the signature, with dramatic bunkering, a sloping fairway, and an approach over scrubland into a small green. The resort has a stunning, tiered clubhouse, the Elea Golf Academy and a full-length driving range.

Minthis Golf Club

Minthis is spectacularly set in a picturesque valley overlooking the Troodos Mountains and undulates past ancient groves, olive trees and fruit orchards. It opened in 1994 and has since been renovated by renowned course designers Mackenzie & Ebert who blended it beautifully with the natural landscape. Elevated tees invite brave shots into narrow tree-lined fairways, and the par-3 13th signature hole requires a tee shot played to the only island green surrounded by water in Cyprus. It’s a tranquil course of great variety where golfers of all abilities will have a lot of fun.
