The Rise of Golf in the Olympics
Our featured member today is Elin Arvidsson. Elin is a professional golfer from Sweden who went to Texas Tech University and now plays her golf on the Symetra Tour.
I started when I was about 12 years old. My entire family played so it became an easy choice. I believe I got even more into the sport when I started to compete.
It must be when I got the chance to play Sanford Health’s Pro Am event. The event took place at the amazing golf course called, Sutton Bay in South Dakota. During the 2-day event, several special guests were invited and Jack Nicklaus was one of them. Very inspirational to be able to play in the group behind him.
I would like to see more people coming out to watch the best female golfers in the world during the LPGA events. It is so much fun and these girls just become better and better every year.

Pebble Beach, Bro Hof and The Old Course- St Andrews
It was actually one of the girls on the Symetra Tour that talked about it and I started to use it.
That I can help other golfers to find courses that might not be as famous but still amazing. I also like how it allows us to connect with golfers all over the world.
I like that I can rate all the courses I have played. It will help other golfers to read about my experience but also like a journal for myself.
