Charlie Woods Signs with TaylorMade: What’s in His Bag?

Charlie Woods is taking another significant step in his young golf career after signing a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) agreement with TaylorMade Golf. The 17-year-old has been one of the most talked-about young players in the game since he first appeared alongside his father, Tiger Woods, but his own performances are increasingly making headlines. Now a rising senior at The Benjamin School in Florida and a future Florida State golfer, Charlie is beginning to establish his own path in competitive golf while joining one of the biggest equipment brands in the sport.

One of his latest appearances came at the Junior PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass, where Woods produced an impressive performance to finish tied for eighth at 1-under par. His result represented a clear improvement on his tied-31st finish at the same event in 2025. Woods opened with a 1-under 71 before closing with a 70, finishing his final round in style with three consecutive birdies on the ninth, 10th and 11th holes. The performance was another encouraging sign of his progress against a strong field of junior players.

The Junior PLAYERS Championship also provided a glimpse at the equipment setup Woods is currently relying on as he continues to develop his game. His bag features a combination of TaylorMade’s latest technology and some of the company’s more player-focused models, with the setup reflecting the needs of a young golfer competing at an increasingly high level. With his new TaylorMade partnership now official, it will be interesting to see how his equipment evolves as he makes the transition from junior golf to the collegiate game.

Woods has already built an impressive list of achievements despite being only 17. He claimed his first AJGA victory at the 2025 Team TaylorMade Invitational at Streamsong, finished inside the top 10 at the Boys Junior PGA Championship, and has qualified for three consecutive U.S. Junior Amateur Championships. He has also contributed to two Florida high school state team titles with The Benjamin School.
