PGA Tour 2026: Season Overview

Less than an hour from Barcelona and close to the glorious beaches of the Costa Brava, PGA Catalunya Golf & Wellness is one of the world’s leading golf, lifestyle and real estate resorts.
Just 15 minutes from the historic town of Girona and nestled in the rolling contours and pine forests of Catalunya, this resort offers two championship golf courses, a luxury 5-star hotel, superb gastronomy, a range of beautifully designed villas, and a world-class wellness spa.

The Stadium Course and the Tour Course are both par-72 woodland layouts designed by Angel Gallardo. The Stadium opened in 1999 and hosted the Spanish Open on the European Tour in 2000, 2009 and 2014. It has a spectacular beauty and is regularly voted the best golf course in Spain. Thanks to five tees on each hole, golfers of all levels can enjoy it, but many are elevated, while old oak trees, evergreens, strategically placed bunkers and numerous water hazards are just some of the obstacles that grab your attention.
The Tour Course is easier than its sibling, but just as beautiful. Dominated by pine trees and lakes, this course is also shorter, yet its clever design ensures it remains a challenge for every level of player. Most of the holes feature wide fairways, strategic bunkers and water hazards. This course co-hosted the European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage between 2008-16.
The Golf Hub at PGA Catalunya Golf has the most advanced swing analysis technology combined with the same ball-tracking system used by professionals. Boasting one of the largest practice facilities in Europe, it includes a 2,000 square-meter putting green and chipping area with five bunkers. PGA Catalunya Golf Academy is perhaps the premiere golf academy in Spain. With a selection of golf professionals on hand as instructors, there are individual and group lessons and the academy also includes the acclaimed Sergio García Golf Academy for juniors.

The resort’s selection of luxury villas and elegant semi-detached villas, townhouses and apartments offer panoramic views over the golf courses or the Pyrenees Mountains. There’s three-bedroom apartments, four-bedroom semi-detached villas with a terrace, and a range of stunning luxury villas with a pool. Owners can choose between buying a new property, building their own home in keeping with the architectural concept of the resort, or use the experienced resort team to take care of building their dream villa.
The low-rise, art-deco style Hotel Camiral is a haven of tranquillity at the heart of the resort with 5-star sophistication, services and facilities. With a blend of modern aesthetics and sumptuous furnishings, the hotel’s 145 beautifully designed rooms and suites are comfortable, luxurious and tastefully elegant. All rooms enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding gardens, golf courses and the large swimming-pool.

Nestled in the Catalan forests, with indulgent massages, technology-led treatments, a state-of-the-art gym and experts on hand to sculpt your retreat to suit you, the Wellness Centre is more than just a spa. A holistic approach leaves visitors with long-lasting benefits for the mind, body and soul. There’s sports recovery treatments using state-of-the-art technology, including Cryotherapy and Oxygen Chamber Therapy, and all kinds of beauty, aromatherapy, and mind and body treatments.

The Hotel Camiral restaurant, 1744, serves exquisite Mediterranean cuisine with a strong local personality. All dishes are prepared by an award-winning chef and are based on fresh products from local producers. If you prefer a romantic restaurant with a view, the Club Bar blends classic European and unique local delicacies with a terrace overlooking the Stadium Course.
There’s also The Club Café which serves a bistro menu of clubhouse classics and blends magnificent views with an elegant modern look in a bold move away from the traditional clubhouse. Located between the resort’s two championship golf courses, the chic Lounge Bar is where master bartenders serve cocktails, while The Pool Bar offers informal, pool-side food and drink.
Explore the surrounding countryside by bike or on horseback. Put your tennis skills to the test, try out the fishing point or sample the exercise facilities at the Fitness Centre. This resort has everything from zip wires to wine tasting! The beautiful spa town of Caldes de Malavella and the elegant city of Girona with its rich culture, history, and great atmosphere are great places to visit, while the beaches of the Costa Brava are also only a few minutes’ drive away.
