How to Build the Perfect Golf & Wine Vacation in Spain

Russell Henley added another impressive chapter to his PGA Tour career by capturing the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club. The American secured the title in dramatic fashion, defeating Eric Cole in a playoff after producing a clutch finish during the closing stretch of regulation play. Henley’s victory showcased the precision, consistency, and short-game excellence that have long defined his game, earning him his sixth PGA Tour title and reinforcing his reputation as one of the Tour’s most reliable ball strikers.

A key factor behind the win was the equipment setup that helped Henley navigate Colonial’s demanding layout. His bag was led by a Titleist TSi3 driver paired with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 70 TX shaft, while a Titleist TS3 3-wood and a Titleist GTS3 7-wood provided versatility and control from the tee and fairway. Henley also relied on his trusted Titleist iron and wedge setup, combining accuracy and shot-making precision throughout the week on one of the PGA Tour’s most strategic courses.

Since turning professional in 2011, Henley has built a career around elite iron play, accuracy, and composure under pressure. A former University of Georgia standout, he burst onto the PGA Tour scene with a victory at the 2013 Sony Open and has remained a consistent contender ever since. The triumph at Colonial further highlights the longevity of his success and demonstrates why he continues to thrive against some of the strongest fields in professional golf. With his dependable ball-striking and proven winning mentality, Henley remains one of the most respected competitors on Tour.
