Europe’s Best Golf Resorts with Exceptional Practice Facilities

Think you need to jump on a plane for the perfect Golf and Spa getaway? Well, look no further! Not far from the heart of Europe lies Bergvliet Villa’s, a brand new holiday park with luxurious accommodation where visitors can play a round of golf, relax in the beautiful spa, discover the picturesque forest setting and enjoy a drink on the terrace or at the bar.
The holiday park is part of the Langoed Bergvliet, nestled in the beautiful Oosterhout forest near the Dutch city of Breda. This unique setting consists of an 18-hole golf course, several restaurants offering affordable, high-quality cuisine, a grand café and the largest, most luxurious wellness complex in the south of the Netherlands – the Spa One.

The villas are tucked away in a park-like setting on a 13th-century estate and are ideal for those who appreciate privacy, luxury and beautiful natural surroundings. There are three types of villas: Birdie, Eagle and Albatros – for four, eight or 12 persons. The two, four or six-bedroom villas have the character of hotel suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom. They contain spacious living room, large windows, outdoor fireplace, and partially covered terrace that add to the feeling of comfort and well-being.
The eye for detail and luxury can be found everywhere at Bergvliet Villas. The large, canopied terraces are made from sustainable wood, each with its own fireplace and outdoor furniture where visitors can relax until late in the evening. The villas are highly sustainable with solar panels, climate control and triple glazing giving holidaymakers a feeling of peace and tranquillity.

Landgoed Bergvliet Golf Club has the ambition to become the most hospitable club in the Netherlands, as well as an example of a sustainable golf course. The par 71 parkland course features many slopes and dog-leg holes, each with its own unique character to surprise even the most avid golfer. Designers Gerard Jol and Michiel van der Vaart have perfectly integrated the golf course into the idyllic natural surroundings of Brabant province.
In addition to the championship course, Landgoed Bergvliet has a beautiful 9-hole par 3 course which offers plenty of opportunities to practice your more lofted irons and short game. Besides the two golf courses and practice facilities, the club has a certified golf school with PGA professionals and a professional shop with a fully-equipped fitting centre.
The brand new wellness centre has several saunas with fireplaces and a waterfall, a salt cave, a halo salt spray booth and a yoga cabin. Steam baths, a caldarium, a stylish hammam, various spacious whirlpools and comfortable rest rooms complete your wellness experience. For the more energetic, the complex features three pools as well. In the luxury wellness department you can enjoy various massages and beauty treatments for the face and body and, of course, there are plenty of sun beds and lounge areas for those who want to recover from all that enjoyment!

Every great resort should be complete with a high-quality restaurant on site, so the chefs at Restaurant Landgoed Bergvliet are at your disposal seven days a week to serve you the most delicious dishes. In addition to the main menu, the restaurant offers daily specials using seasonal ingredients.
