Offering the ultimate golf break, Evian Resort is home to luxurious hotels, Michelin-starred food, the famous Evian thermal spa, and one of the five major championships on the LPGA Tour.
The resort is part of the spa town of Evian which sits on the border between France and Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps on the shores of Lake Geneva. Evian’s internationally renowned pure waters lure health-conscious visitors from around the world.
Evian Resort covers 47 acres and includes the five-star Hotel Royal Palace, which combines Belle Epoque charm with stylish contemporary design; the four-star Hotel Ermitage, which has a wonderfully inviting atmosphere; two hotel spas, the Evian Thermal Spa, Evian Casino, a Kid’s Resort for babies through to teens, the Evian Resort Golf Club and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.

The Champions Course is just two minutes away by shuttle from the resort and hosts the Amundi Evian Championship, one of the five majors of women’s professional golf. The 2023 edition will be held from 27 to 30 July. It’s has stunning natural surroundings with unrivalled viewpoints of Lake Geneva and the Alps, making it one of the most beautiful courses in Europe.
The second course, the Lake Course, opened in 2020 and comprises six par-3s and is just under 1000 yards in length. It’s an equally beautiful alternative to the 18-hole course and can be played in under 90 minutes. But golfers can choose to play 6, 12 or 18 holes at their leisure.
As well as the golf courses, the David Leadbetter Academy offers world-class instruction. The Leadbetter coaching philosophy is suitable for all types of golfer, with the aim of providing players of any age and ability with the same instruction as that received by world-class golfers, using state-of-the-art technology.

One of the most luxurious hotels in the world, the Hotel Royal Palace offers 150 superb rooms including 32 prestigious suites with panoramic views of Lake Geneva, and the Michelin-starred restaurant Les Fresques. Close by, Hotel Ermitage is a charming property with its Anglo-Norman architectural style and elegantly designed 80 rooms and suites. It has a family feel where you can enjoy its central open fireplace to feel cosy in wintertime and the splendid outdoor terrace facing the lake in warmer months.
The Evian Resort’s three gastronomic restaurants, Les Fresques, La Table and Le Baccara are set in stylish, contemporary spaces and offer guests modern cuisine inspired by regional produce. The resort also has three brasseries serving inventive, colourful dishes in a cosy, intimate setting, as well as three incredibly stylish bars, a pub, and two pool bars.
The Evian Resort has two spas, one at the Royal Hotel and the second at the Hotel Ermitage. Both have the best equipment and professionals specially trained to meet every request. And within a five minute walk, the Evian Thermal Spa is a unique spa, at the very source of Evian mineral water. The thermal baths there offer a wide range of toning, regenerating and relaxing treatments.

There’s floodlit tennis courts, cookery classes, hiking, water sports, boat rides, paragliding and helicopter trips. The ski resorts of Thollon-les-Memises and Bernex, with stunning views of the lake, are just 15 minutes away. The resort has a Sport & Culture Team, which provides equipment and shuttle transportation and is made up of professionally qualified instructors.
