Spa & Swing: Resorts for Golfers Who Love Wellness

During this week’s interview, we had a nice chat with Caroline Powers, a professional golfer playing on the Symetra Tour in the United States who enjoys using All Square. Find out why she thinks that anything creative would make golf more fun, what happened when her driver flew out of her hands and much more.
1. ABOUT GOLF
To start, can you tell us how you first got into golf?
My whole family plays golf and has for generations so it was predetermined.
What would make golf more fun?
Anything creative that is out of the ordinary. Music, the golf boards, night golf, etc.
Your funniest golf experience?
When I was about 10 years old I was playing in a tournament with all older girls and it started to pour down rain. Of course I did not have any rain gear or gloves. When I went to hit a drive in the downpour, my driver flew out of my hands and ended up going farther than the ball. I did not impress the older girls that day with my golf, but I did make some friends at the expense of my own embarrassment.
Your top 3 golf destinations?
Whistling Straits, Calusa Pines and Torrey Pines.
What is the golf flight of your dreams?
Tiger Woods, Jimmy Fallon, Wayne Gretzky.
2. ABOUT ALL SQUARE
How did you first discover All Square?
Met the team at the 2016 PGA Show.
Complete the sentence: What I like the most about All Square is …
Bragging to my friends about the cool courses I get to play and uploading all my golf photos to one place for them to see.
Your favorite feature on All Square?
Connecting with other girls and friends on tour and reading their reviews.
Have you met new golfers through All Square?
Not yet, but I am looking so forward to it.
3. RAPID FIRE, OFF THE CUFF QUESTIONS
Hitting long drive or sinking long putt?
Both, drive for show but definitely putt for the dough
Having the round of your life or make a hole-in-one?
I have never had a hole in one so that would be nice, but round of my life for sure.
Early morning or late afternoon tee off?
Early morning, I like to see the sun rise and take an afternoon nap.
The coolest player on Tour?
Madeleine Sheils.
