Scottie Scheffler WITB: What’s in the Bag for His 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship Win

Scottie Scheffler continued his remarkable run of dominance at the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship, claiming an emphatic eight-stroke victory at TPC Southwind. The world No. 1 finished at 17-under par after rounds of 66, 61, 68 and 66, with his second-round 61 proving to be the turning point of the week. Scheffler produced 11 birdies that day to match the course record and build a three-shot advantage, before maintaining control over the final two rounds. The victory marked his 21st PGA TOUR title and his second win of the 2026 season, further strengthening his position at the top of the game.

Scheffler also made an interesting equipment change during his latest triumph, putting the TaylorMade Qi4D driver into his bag after using the Qi10 for more than three years. Set at 8 degrees and paired with a Fujikura Ventus Black 7 X shaft, the new driver was part of a setup that otherwise featured plenty of familiar equipment. Scheffler used a TaylorMade Qi10 3-wood, Srixon ZU85 long irons, TaylorMade P7TW irons from 5-iron through pitching wedge, Titleist Vokey SM8 and SM9 wedges, and a TaylorMade Spider Tour X putter, while continuing to play a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.

The latest victory adds another significant achievement to a career that has already established Scheffler as one of the defining players of his generation. Since earning his first PGA TOUR victory in 2022, he has become a multiple major champion, winning the Masters twice, the PGA Championship and The Open Championship, while also claiming the 2024 FedExCup. His 21 PGA TOUR victories have come at an extraordinary rate, and his ability to combine elite ball-striking, consistency and short-game performance has made him the player to beat week after week. With another dominant performance now under his belt, Scheffler enters the remainder of the FedExCup Playoffs with momentum — and a slightly updated set of clubs in his bag.
