Michael Brennan delivered one of the biggest performances of his young career at the 2026 Wyndham Championship, closing with a spectacular 6-under 64 at Sedgefield Country Club to claim a three-stroke victory. Starting the final round with a chance to contend, Brennan quickly took control, making five consecutive birdies on the front nine before continuing to pull away from the field. The former Wake Forest standout turned professional in 2024 and quickly made his mark on PGA TOUR Americas, winning three times during the 2025 season and finishing No. 1 in the points standings. That performance earned him a place on the PGA TOUR, where he wasted little time making an impact. In just his third career TOUR start, Michael Brennan captured the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship by four strokes at Black Desert Resort, announcing himself as one of the game’s most promising young players.
