Located on the fringes of Abu Dhabi Golf Club, the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa is perfect for golf enthusiasts who want five-star treatment.
The hotel offers stay-and-play options so visitors can combine a luxurious trip with playing at one of the best golf courses in the Middle East.
There are 153 rooms and 19 suites. The rooms come with two queen beds or one king bed, with either a terrace with garden access, or a balcony overlooking the golf course. All are well-furnished, stylish and contemporary with Wi-Fi, 42” LCD TV, and en-suite bathrooms so you can relax in total luxury.
The suites are divided into categories so that all guests and every budget is catered for. The Junior and Renewal suites feature one king bed with a balcony or terrace, the Executive has one king bed with a balcony, and the lavish two-bedroom Presidential has one king bed and two queen beds with a terrace.

The Heavenly Spa at the hotel is an organic, luxurious and stylish setting to indulge or relax after a round of golf. It has a wide range of services on offer in the six treatment rooms, from full body wraps to rejuvenating collagen treatments and soothing paraffin baths. If you want to be pampered, there’s a selection of massages and facials with an emphasis on physical and mental renewal.
There is also a gym with running machines, cardiovascular equipment and weights, and fitness programs designed especially for guests.
Due to Covid-19, The Heavenly Spa is currently closed until further notice.
With six different bars and restaurants, there is something for every taste and occasion. There are two fine-dining restaurants, with international cuisine served at Fairways and Italian favourites dished up at Sacci. Casual home comforts and pub food is offered at the Retreat Sports Bar, and there’s drinks and light bites at the coffee-house style Lounge Bar. There’s also fine wines and cocktails at the sophisticated Lemon & Lime Lounge, and casual drinks and snacks at the laid back Shades Pool Bar.

The family-friendly environment and 700-metre lagoon-shaped swimming pool with adjoining children’s area are both perfect for a laid-back family holiday. Visitors can also enjoy the clean sand and warm turquoise waters of Saadiyat Beach, just 5km away. Children under 12 can stay at the hotel for free.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, advance reservation is currently required to attend the pool.

The National course at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosts the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA on the European Tour each year and is one of the best golf experiences in the Middle East. The par 72, 7,440-yard layout provides an entertaining challenge with 90 strategically placed bunkers and seven saltwater lakes. The perfectly manicured fairways, carved out of the surrounding desert by famed designer Peter Harradine, weave through undulating terrain adorned with palms, ornamental trees and shrubs. There’s four tee boxes, making the course welcoming to golfers of all abilities.
For those looking for a more relaxing round of golf, there’s the enjoyable par-36 Garden Course, which is also a great place for beginners. There’s also floodlit golf with tee times up to 9pm. Playing at Abu Dhabi Golf Club is an essential element of any golf trip to the UAE, and the architecturally striking Falcon clubhouse has become an Abu Dhabi icon.
The hotel is just 10km from Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s entertainment district which features the thrilling Ferrari World Abu Dhabi theme park, the fully air-conditioned indoor Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi theme park, and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi waterpark. Also just a short drive away, the stunning Sheikh Zayed Mosque is one of the world’s largest mosques and an absolute must-see.
But if you prefer a stroll or bike ride, then visit Corniche Beach just 10km away and meander along the promenade that stretches the length of the northwest shore of the city with incredible views of the skyline.
