Discovering Golf in the Czech Republic
(Palo Alto, CA – March 24, 2014) All Square®, a new network that connects the passion and power of people’s love for golf on one completely free, accessible and engaging social mediasite, has been nominated to showcase its global platform at the prestigious Plug and Play Spring EXPO in Sunnyvale, California, on March 27, 2014.
Plug and Play EXPO is the global accelerator’s public invitation to Silicon Valley to experience the latest start-up trends, introduce potential investors to new business opportunities and give promising start-ups access to a powerful corporate network.
Since the beginning of 2014, All Square® has been based at Silicon Valley’s Plug and Play Tech Center, enhancing its global platform and refining its proposition. It will now use the Plug and Play Spring EXPO to pitch to over 500 CEOs, entrepreneurs and technology developers.
Commenting on his decision to invite All Square® to participate in the Spring EXPO, Saeed Amidi, CEO and co-founder of Plug & Play Tech Center, said: “I am very impressed by the quality of the All Square platform and the business’ progress during the past three months in Silicon Valley.
“I have selected All Square to pitch at the EXPO as it is one of the most promising start?ups from our International Program.”
All Square® follow in the footsteps of companies such as Google, PayPal and Dropbox, which have been a part of the Plug & Play Tech Centre over the past seven years.
All Square’s Co-founder and CEO, Patrick Rahme, added: “We share the global accelerator’s passion to change the status quo, to build new things, and to reshape our world through creative thinking, innovation and determination.
“We believe the specialist All Square golf social network is a contemporary business solution that addresses a real social matter – and is the point we will be communicating to the audience at this year’s Plug and Play EXPO.”
All Square® was founded last year by Patrick Rahme and business partner, Arthur de Rivoire, after they met at the HEC University of Lausanne, Switzerland, while studying economics and business administration. Rahme, who also studied at the London School of Economics, and de Rivoire are both elite amateur golfers and regularly represent the national teams of Luxembourg and Switzerland respectively.
All Square has also been working closely with global golf course management company Troon® Golf on its international development and has been selected by KPMG, the global professional services firm, to join its K-Start program for entrepreneurs.
