Golf Resorts Perfect for a Proposal or Honeymoon

Jorg Paulus has traveled the globe to play some of the best golf courses in the world. He won the International Portuguese Mid-Amateur at Troia Resort where he met one of the founders of All Square. A couple of weeks later, we interviewed Jorg while he was taking a cab to get to the next airport.
I started playing golf in 1987. I wasn’t very good at tennis or football and I wanted to be good at one sport. It seems that golf was a better bet. I played golf for the first time in Golf Club Erlangen near Nürnberg in Germany.
I am lucky to be a member at several golf clubs: Royal Dornoch Golf Club, Golspie Golf Club, Durness Golf Club, Brora Golf Club in Scotland and Royal Liverpool (Hoylake) in England.
Among those courses, my favorite is Royal Dornoch Golf Club as I shot a 68 during a tournament round the first time I played there. It felt great!
My most memorable golf experience is the 6 iron that I hit on the 17th green at Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club to win the local trophy. I stood on the fairway knowing that I had a chance to win the tournament but that I had to make a birdie. I managed to hit my 6 iron to one meter and holed the putt to win!
I love to play golf in Scotland.
My favorite courses in Continental Europe are Troia Resort in Portugal, Morfontaine Golf Club and Golf de Fontainebleau in France.
In Britain & Ireland, my favorite courses are Formby Golf Club, the Old Course at Sunningdale Golf Club in England and Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland.
In the US, my favorite courses are Winged Foot Golf Club, The Los Angeles Country Club and the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Resort.
In Asia, my favorite courses are Alpine Golf Club and the Canyon Course at Blue Canyon Country Club.
I want to play the African Amateur at Leopard Creek Country Club in February. The problem is that I am still waiting to get an invitation
