What’s in Collin Morikawa’s winning golf bag?

Collin Morikawa’s six-shot victory at the PGA Tour‘s Zozo Championship in Japan is his first title in nearly two years. Let’s take a dive into his golf bag.

The two-time major winner started the final day two shots off the lead at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, but carded a brilliant seven-under 63 to secure victory by six strokes. He finished on 14 under, with compatriots Eric Cole and Beau Hossler runners-up on eight under.

It’s the American’s sixth PGA Tour victory and his first since the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai in November 2021. The win moves him up to #13 in the official world golf rankings.

What’s in the bag?

Having used TaylorMade equipment throughout his amateur career, the 26-year-old signed a multi-year contract extension with the brand in February 2022.

Among his clubs are the brand’s P770 and P7MC irons, reviewed here. With input from Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, these are an update on the P700 irons and are for better players who want a compact club that delivers extra distance and feel.
