WITB: Ben Griffin at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge
Wyndham Clark held off Rory McIlroy to claim his first major title with a one-shot victory at the 123rd U.S. Open. Let’s take a look in his golf bag.
The 29-year-old American ended on 10 under at Los Angeles Country Club, one shot ahead of McIlroy who only made one birdie all day as he endured another frustrating putting performance on a Sunday at a major.
World No 1 Scottie Scheffler finished three strokes back in third ahead of Open champion Cameron Smith.
What’s in the bag?
Clark used to be a PXG staff player until the start of 2022 when moved to Titleist. He now uses nearly a full bag of the brand’s clubs and got into the PGA Tour winner’s circle for the first time at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship.
At the top of the bag he carries a Titleist TSi3. The brand released the Tsi2 and Tsi3 drivers and fairway woods in 2021. A newly shaped crown reduced drag by up to 15 per cent compared to the original TS range to help increase clubhead speed, while a softer toe section was implemented. The TSi2 has a deep centre of gravity for speed and accuracy across the face due to a fixed 9g weight at the rear.
For his 3-wood he goes for a TaylorMade Stealth 2. This driver and woods range built on 2022’s first-generation Stealth, which heralded a new era for drivers with its full carbon face. The Stealth 2 is easy to launch and delivers a high MOI performance thanks to a 25-gram tungsten weight in the back of the clubhead.
He then uses the T200 irons which came out in 2021. They are designed for better golfers looking for more speed, launch and versatility, but most of all, distance. He then opts for a Odyssey Jailbird Versa putter.
