The Best Irons on the Market in 2025

Belek is Turkey’s golfing capital with a huge selection of world-class golf courses and all-inclusive luxury resorts. Here’s our pick of the best.
This Mediterranean coastal town is located in the southern region of Antalya and enjoys a superb climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year and temperatures around a mild 15°C in the winter.

One of the region’s flagship all-inclusive five-star destinations, Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort is home to Carya Golf Club which has also hosted the Turkish Open.
Opened in 2014, this stunning five-star all-inclusive beachside resort offers over 600 rooms, suites and villas with views of the sea and on-site Carya Golf Club. There’s a huge selection of restaurants and bars, six pools, a wave pool, a luxury spa, floodlit tennis, kids and teens clubs, a waterpark, live music, an open-air theatre, a disco and a pillow menu. This huge resort has a choice of 11 bars and 17 restaurants to make the most of the all-inclusive.

Carya Golf Club hosted Turkish Airlines Open between 2016-18 and is a heathland style course that plays like a little slice of classic English golf. It winds snugly between natural pine and eucalyptus trees, across undulating sand ridges, and was also the first course in Europe to be fully floodlit, so you can play in the evening.
Guest can also play at National Golf Club, next to Carya Golf Club, which boasts a superb 27-hole championship course, Belek’s original layout. In all, there are 14 golf courses within 20 minutes drive of this resort.

Less than five minutes from here, Maxx Royal Golf Resort is set directly between a private beach and the Montgomerie Maxx golf course, designed by Colin Montgomerie. As Maxx Royal is so close to Regnum Carya, you can stay at either resort and play both courses. This excellent course opened in 2008 and in 2013-15 and 2019 staged the Turkish Airlines Open. It has stunning mountain views, several lakes, and pine and eucalyptus trees lining the fairways. It’s also floodlit with a clubhouse and driving range.
Guests can stay at a selection of suites, lauguna suites and villas that overlook the large lagoon-style pool or private pools, surrounded by palm trees or gardens. There are kids and teens clubs, indoor pools, tennis, golf and three signature restaurants, three al a carte, a food hall, a bakery, a beach, a restaurant and bar and several other bars.

The resort is also just 1 km from the buzzy atmosphere, shops, restaurants and bars of Belek, which also boasts an aqua park, a dolphinarium and nearby Greek and Roman historical sites, baths and amphitheatres.
Maxx Royal Golf Resort attracts golfers with its ‘Ultra All-Inclusive’ concept which includes Fast Track and CIP Lounge during your journey to the resort, and once there, bespoke wellness programs at the spa, the personalized Maxx Assistant service, 24-hour food and drinks, a pillow menu and a wide range of entertainment options.

Among the other five-star resorts close to Belek is Sueno Golf Deluxe Hotel, which offers the opportunity for golfers to walk to the on-site championship Pines and Dunes courses. Located between the beach and golf courses, this all-inclusive resort offers luxurious rooms and suites, leisure facilities, and a selection of restaurants and bars.

Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa, which boasts Sir Nick Faldo’s Cornelia Golf Club, is also in the vicinity. It’s a five-star all-inclusive resort within walking distance of the beach with over 500 luxurious rooms and suites, several swimming pools, an aqua park, an eco-spa, tennis courts and a huge number of bars and restaurants.

With its 27-hole championship golf course designed by Sir Nick, Cornelia Golf Club, connected to the resort by a shuttle, offers a true golfing paradise. This excellent course is routed around pine forests and sandy terrain with a dramatic ridge of dunes running through the middle.
