The Philippines is home to around 200 golf courses and several world-class resorts across its stunning tropical islands. Here’s our best stay & play resort package and nearby courses.
The Philippines is made up of more than 7,000 islands in the western Pacific Ocean in southeast Asia. These tropical islands provide a beautiful landscape of rainforests, picture-postcard beaches and coral waters.
The islands enjoy a tropical climate with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C between November and April, and though the wet season falls between May and October, the rain rarely impacts plans to hit the fairways.

One Tectona Hotel is a 4-star family-friendly golf resort in Liloan, on the northern outskirts of Cebu in the Central Visayas region. It’s also only around 15km from Mactan-Cebu International Airport. It’s a great option for golf enthusiasts as well as friends and couples looking to get away from it all, tucked away in forested hills with gorgeous views of Magellan Bay.
The hotel is known for its exceptional service and it provides spacious rooms with modern amenities and views of the lush surrounding greenery. Golfers will appreciate that it’s just minutes from the splendid Liloan Golf Course. There’s also a rooftop pool, wellness spa, and fine dining options that showcase both local and international cuisine.

Liloan Golf Club – Liloan Golf Club is set against the backdrop of the incredibly scenic Cebu countryside. It’s a great all-rounder for golfers of all levels who will appreciate the natural countryside beauty, the lush tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and picturesque water hazards.

Club Filipino Golf Club – This is another great option for golfers staying at One Tectona Hotel. Just 11km away, it’s one of the oldest and most prestigious golf courses in the Philippines. Set in the scenic hills of Danao City, this parkland course has built a great reputation for superbly maintained fairways and greens adorned by mature trees. There are lovely views, a variety of elevation changes and doglegs, while the clubhouse offers high-quality dining options.

Cebu Country Club is the oldest golf course in Cebu. Dating back to 1928, it was redesigned in the 1990s by Gary Player to make it more attractive to visitors. It’s a private golf course but it’s open to travelling golfers and lies just a few minutes from the centre of Cebu City. There are winding fairways, water hazards and coral rock formations which give it a gorgeous tropical feel.

Alta Vista Golf & Country Club is just five miles from Cebu City and only 10 minutes from the main Cebu beaches. Opened in 1997, all 18 championship holes here were designed by Gary Player. Some of them are among the most beautiful in the whole of the Philippines. From its 500-feet elevated position, there are breathtaking views of the surrounding tropical islands.

Queen’s Island Golf & Resort is set in Medellin town, North Cebu, around a 90-minute drive from the centre of Cebu City. This course has some of the best quality greens and fairways even in the rainy season thanks to its excellent drainage system and US-imported Platinum TE Paspalum grass. There’s plenty of water, lake views and palm trees. Opened in 2016, it’s the newest championship course in the region.
