The View Agadir: Morocco’s Newest Luxury Golf Base Has Arrived

Golf courses can be works of great beauty. One place that boasts an unfair amount of these beauties is Mauritius. The courses on this volcanic island in the Indian Ocean are not as celebrated as they should be. We are going to put an end to that by making them our destination of the week this week.
Tourism is the big money-maker for the economy of Mauritius. The island boasts eight 18-hole and five 9-hole courses. Some of the biggest names in golf have put their names to courses on Mauritius and created some wonderful courses to be discovered.
Sitting on an even smaller island off the west coast of Mauritius, Ile aux Cerfs is the name of both the island and the golf course. You will probably not have played a golf course like this before therefore you should get out there and play it. Designed by Bernard Langer, it is as picturesque as golf can get. This is a luscious golfing paradise surrounded by forest, beautiful white sand bunkers and crystal blue water. The volcanic terrain is dramatic and a true golfing delight. This is a very special course. Get out and add it to your All Square World Map.
Ernie Els put his name to the Four Seasons and what a place it is! Els built the course for you to enjoy and was designed to play just that way. Every hole on this course provides a new exciting challenge. This is a masterpiece by the South African. The land it’s built on is fantastic and is one to savour.
With two courses to choose from here you have a tough choice to make, or you could play both. Hugh Baiocci designed The Legend Course. The land this course is built on is incredible. This technically challenging course meanders through volcanic rocks and ponds, it’s a joy to play!
The voice of golf Peter Alliss and Rodney Wright designed The Links Course at Belle Mare Plage. The opening hole at this course gives a beautiful view of the hills of the island. The holes on this course each offer their own unique views and challenge and the greens are some of the best you’ll play on.
Here’s the thing, it’s cold in the Northern Hemisphere why not get yourself out to paradise for some great golf? Not many people have played these courses. You will probably become the envy of your friends when you recant tales of your golf on Mauritius. Doesn’t that sound fun?
