The 10 Best Golf Courses in Algarve That Every Golfer Must Play
Rory McIlroy’s triumphant performance at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last Sunday not only added a prestigious title to his illustrious career but also showcased his exceptional skill on one of golf’s most iconic courses. Finishing at 21-under par, McIlroy secured a two-stroke victory over fellow countryman Shane Lowry, marking his 27th PGA Tour win.
Throughout the tournament, McIlroy demonstrated remarkable consistency. His opening round was highlighted by a spectacular hole-in-one on the par-3 15th at Spyglass Hill, where he aced the 119-yard hole with a wedge.
Despite challenging weather conditions in the third round, McIlroy delivered a commendable 65, tying for the day’s lowest score and solidifying his lead.
Over his career, McIlroy has established himself as one of the most accomplished golfers of his generation. Turning professional in 2007, he has amassed 27 PGA Tour victories, including four major championships: the U.S. Open (2011), PGA Championship (2012, 2014), and The Open Championship (2014). His recent win at Pebble Beach not only adds to his impressive resume but also underscores his enduring competitiveness and skill in the sport.
