Home to a brand new 5* hotel and three of Europe’s best golf courses, Sotogrande on Spain’s glorious Costa del Sol is everything you could want from a golf vacation. Read on for our fantastic Stay & Play Package.
Sotogrande is a chic, luxurious destination set in the Andalusian hills, close to the Mediterranean coastline. It’s made up of low-rise gated communities of upscale villas and residences with incredible seaviews and one of Europe’s most innovative country clubs – La Reserva Club, at its heart.
La Reserva Club’s elite facilities include an 18-hole championship course and The Beach Club, which innovatively brings the beach experience to the hills. It has a man-made lagoon with a full sandy bottom surrounded by 2,800 square metres of sandy beach, uniquely introducing the pleasures of the coast to a private and exclusive setting. There’s also a variety of water sports, a racquet club and two excellent restaurants.
Sotogrande is also home to two of Spain’s most legendary golf courses – and with the opening of the brand new 5* SO/ Sotogrande hotel, you can stay in the heart of this enviable destination and play the pristine fairways.

You can play three of Europe’s greatest golf courses, La Reserva Club, Real Golf Club Sotogrande, and Real Club Valderrama, and stay in the heart of celebrated Sotogrande. All three green fees are included along with 4 nights in a double superior room at the 5* SO/ Sotogrande hotel with breakfast included.
The Stay & Play Package also includes transfer shuttle from the hotel to the golf courses, a ‘Get the rust off’ 9-hole practice session at La Reserva Club with FlightScope and club fitting, a physio session to activate your body, personal locker room with goodie bag from Taylormade Golf & La Reserva Club, and coaching with a personal PGA qualified coach.
Book the Sotogrande Experience Stay & Play now.

Real Golf Club Sotogrande is a beautiful layout with elevated tees and panoramic views across Sotogrande out to the Mediterranean, and was the former home of the European Tour Qualifying Finals – a testament to its quality.
Real Club Valderrama, host of the 1997 Ryder Cup and designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Snr, is one of Europe’s best layouts. It’s always in immaculate condition and provides a challenging round, but with six tee boxes at each hole all levels of golfers are catered for. The par-5, 17th is the signature hole with strategically placed bunkers behind a green that slopes towards a beautiful emerald lake.
Opened alongside these legendary courses in 2003, La Reserva Club’s 18-hole championship course, designed by world renowned American course architect Cabell B. Robinson, is another gem with sweeping fairways and large undulating greens. It has plenty of water features, stunning panoramic views, and is a must-play course for any golfer visiting southern Spain.
It now hosts one stage of the ARAMCO Team Series, a golf competition on the Ladies European Tour which uses an innovative format, entirely unique to professional golf, with each team consisting of three professionals and one amateur player.

Luxury brand SO/ Hotels & Resorts opened SO/ Sotogrande this summer, promising a new one-of-a-kind 5* resort – and it has lived up to the billing, offering a new, stylish way to enjoy Andalucia and its culture, through food, wellness experiences, design, and fashion.
Based on the traditional cortijo, the historic rural dwellings of southern Spain, SO/ Sotogrande brilliantly merges together the history and feel of its Andalusian heritage with the high-fashion and contemporary lifestyle-led approach of the SO/ brand.
From the moment you arrive, you enter a world of wellness and serenity. Guests who are lucky enough to visit this resort can choose from 152 stunningly-styled rooms and suites, all featuring terraces or balconies, located around beautifully landscaped gardens in the form of cottages and lofts.
You will enjoy an immersive experience, encompassing a unique gastronomic offering, wellness treatments dedicated to harmonising body and soul, and spectacular views of Sotogrande and the Mediterranean. The SO/ Spa and Health Club has an exceptional selection of treatments along with facilities such as spa rooms, cryotherapy and hydro pools.
There’s also four high-level restaurants serving Andalusian and international cuisine, and guests can enjoy meals on the outdoor terraces, or relax with a drink in one of two stylish bars located on-site. There’s also three stunning pools with panoramic views, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.
Within easy reach of Gibraltar Airport and just over an hour from Malaga Airport, Sotogrande is close to the cosmopolitan and cultural hotspots of Marbella and Malaga. For travellers from Europe, particularly during the winter months, this part of Spain also enjoys a superb climate.
With over 300 days of sunshine each year, Andalucia’s predominantly warm and dry climate offers year-round golf. During the months of March, April and November, temperatures range between a pleasant 20ºC and 25ºC, and even in the height of winter it rarely dips below 15ºC. Between May and September, temperatures average between 25ºC and 30ºC.
