Getting there
Pearl Valley Golf Club is less than an hour’s drive east from Cape Town International Airport.
The golf course

The Pearl Valley Golf Club is located near Franschhoek, a beautiful and historic town on the Cape. Rated by All Square as the 11th best course in South Africa, this Jack Nicklaus design is one of the best recent additions to the country’s golf offering. Lying in a valley beneath the Drakenstein mountains, the pristine routing goes through doglegs, numerous water hazards, pure white bunkering, trees and mounding. The South African Open was held here between 2007-09.

The Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis: Luxury establishment with outstanding facilities including a spa. Just a drive away from the country’s most renowned wine estates and restaurants. Room prices start at €170 per night.
Getting there
Erinvale Golf Club is less than an hour’s drive south from Pearl Valley Golf Club.
The golf course

If the challenge of a Gary Player designed 18-hole golf course, coupled with breathtaking vineyards, sea and mountain views is what you are looking for, then Erinvale is the place for you. Rated by All Square as the 21st best course in South Africa. Hosted the South African Open in 2003 and 04.

Arabella Country Estate is just an hour’s drive south from Erinvale Golf Club.
The golf course

The pristine golf course is rated by All Square as the fifth best in South Africa. Running alongside the banks of the Bot River lagoon and fringed by indigenous fynbos trees, it carefully respects nature. The layout cleverly stretches through rolling fairways, past deceptive bunkers and challenging water traps. The estate also has a fully stocked pro shop, a driving range, chipping green, putting green, halfway house, and a beautifully appointed clubhouse.

Mariott African Pride Arabella Hotel and Spa: This four-star gem is located right next to the golf course. It has over 140 modern rooms, a luxurious spa, gym, tennis courts and a restaurant serving breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Room prices start at €240 per night.
Getting there
Steenberg Golf Club is less than a two hour’s drive from Arabella Country Estate, west back towards Cape Town.

Rated as the 39th best course in South Africa by All Square, Steenberg is consistently named one of the best conditioned courses in the country, attracting those seeking a total golfing experience. A beautiful layout which meanders leisurely through vineyards, pine forests and gentle waterways.

The golf course

A parkland course that is suitable for all levels of player. Nestled in the pristine and tranquil Silvermine Valley, it features tree-lined fairways, well-positioned bunkers and picturesque ponds. The mountain views are worth the visit alone.

St James Guest Houses: Located in the trendy and vibrant fishing village of Kalk Bay, this seaside retreat offers stunning views across False Bay and the Indian Ocean.
