Mindful Golf: How Meditation Improves Your Game

All Square has planned the perfect itinerary for a golf trip to the Algarve in Portugal, one of Europe‘s premier destinations for golfers. Play at Palmer and Faldo-designed courses and stay at luxurious hotels along the Atlantic coast.
Arrival airport: Faro Airport
Quinta do Lago: South & Laranjal Courses

Two great courses at this legendary resort just 20 minutes from the airport. The South course has hosted the Portugal Open eight times and is ranked by All Square as Portugal’s 8th best course. The rolling Laranjal course is also a world-class layout and together they are a must-visit duo on your itinerary.
Amendoeira Golf Resort: Faldo Course

About an hour further west, the championship-level course at Amendoeira, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, has been likened to Sunningdale in England, but sunnier with olive trees! It’s hilly, beautiful and challenging and lives up to the reputation of the six-times major winner.
Onyria Palmares Golf Resort

A further 20km west, next to the natural Bay of Lagos, lies Onyria Palmares, a quintessentially Mediterranean 18-hole layout updated by Robert Trent Jones II in 2011. Ocean views and elevation changes make it both stunning to look at and challenging to play. We rate it as Portugal’s 5th best course.
Dom Pedro: Victoria & Old Course

Just 20km west of Faro Airport, the Victoria course at the fabulous resort of Dom Pedro was designed by Arnold Palmer, and it lives up to this lofty billing as host of the Portugal Masters on the European Tour each season. The neighbouring Old Course is a legendary venue in Portugal. Designed like a classic English course, it’s blessed with natural undulations and pine trees.
Pine Cliffs

Pine Cliffs Resort, very close to Dom Pedro, has a 9-hole course that is perched on top of cliffs with tee shots over ravines and beautiful ocean and beach views. It’s a short little gem, but you’ll never forget playing at this stunningly dramatic course.
Vale do Lobo: Royal Golf Course
Conrad Quinta do Lago

Five-star luxury along the dramatic Atlantic coast, with one of Portugal‘s most decadent spas, Michelin-star dining, and world-class golf courses. Incredibly stylish and classic.
Dom Pedro Vilamoura
Elegant four-star rooms, world-class golf courses, a beautiful spa, outdoor and indoor swimming pools and just a two minute walk to the stunning Vilamoura Beach.
Onyria Palmares Beach House Hotel
Palmares Beach House is just 700 metres from Meia Praia beach and close to the excellent golf course. The 20 rooms, including 2 suites, have spacious balconies overlooking Lagos Bay. A calming, luxurious place to stay.
Pine Cliffs, a Luxury Collection Resort

The Pine Cliffs Hotel, a Luxury Collection Resort has been beautifully renovated to offer discerning travellers exclusive accommodation at a clifftop resort, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, alongside the resident 9-hole dramatic golf course. Great food too, as well as a luxurious spa and wellness centre.
If you have more time or want to escape to play one of the best golf courses in Portugal…

Designed by Jack Nicklaus in 2007, we rate this as Portugal’s best golf course. Monte Rei offers stunning panoramas of the Atlantic Ocean southward and the Serra do Calderon mountain range. It’s hilly with plenty of water and lush vegetation. An unforgettable experience.
For a great golf experience, we recommend you stay at the beautiful Monte Rei Villas, which are on-site. You can also stay at the new Clubhouse Residences, Located next to the Clubhouse and overlooking the 18th fairway. With a range of one, two or three bedroom options, each property offers en-suite bathrooms, fully fitted and equipped kitchens and balconies for outdoor living – all with a dedicated concierge team.
