Peralada Resort in Catalonia offers exceptional wine tourism experiences, a 5-star hotel, a beautiful 18-hole golf course, and Michelin-starred dining.
Less than 30 miles Girona Airport, the resort sits on the edge of the medieval village of Peralada in the heart of Alt Emporda, one of Catalonia’s major wine regions, and is home to the iconic Castell de Peralada, a 14th century medieval fortress. The castle houses the Michelin-starred Castell Peralada Restaurant, a high-end casino and museums.
The resort is also the venue of the Castell de Peralada International Music Festival which has been entertaining visitors for over 30 years, and it’s just 10 minutes from the town of Figueres with its Dali Museum, while various beautiful beaches are a mere half an hour away.

The resort is part of the renowned Peralada wine-producing estate with it’s central building constructed from an old farmhouse not far from the castle. It’s a project grounded in modern architecture and sustainability, but one that is rooted in centuries-old traditions, offering premium wines and world-class wine tourism.
Differently priced packages offer various combinations of guided visits to the New Peralada Winery and its Celler 1923 wine bar, Peralada Castle Museum, exclusive wine tastings, and various wine and gastronomic options including wines paired with local dishes and a tasting menu at the Michelin-starred Castillo Peralada Restaurant.
The resort also offers several sensory, gastronomic, golf, and spa experiences, where guests can either visit the resort for a day and use its facilities, or combine staying at the 5-star hotel with festival, spa, restaurant, and golf course / golf school experiences.

Peralada Golf is one of Spain’s most beautiful courses, surrounded by the stunning scenery of Emporda. This 18-hole, par-71 layout is designed for the enjoyment of players at any level with four tee boxes. It’s a parkland course with immaculate greens, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The stunning views of the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean in the distance make it a memorable golf experience.
The course is complimented by a 9-hole pitch & putt, a two-level driving range, practice greens, a golf school, caddie master services and a pro shop where you can buy equipment from the top golf brands. Guests can also discover the surrounding area by e-bike, enjoy a day of paddle tennis with the family or relax and unwind in the outdoor swimming pool.

Hotel Peralada features an elegant design using the finest materials. The 54 rooms and 10 luxurious suites are all about tranquility, some with balconies overlooking the golf course. The soundproof rooms allow you to relax and enjoy the peace as well as the high-end bathroom amenities, room service, minibar and WiFi connection throughout the hotel.

At the resort’s Castell Peralada Restaurant, chef Javier Martínez and maître d’ and sommelier Toni Gerez have designed a menu that reinterprets Emporda’s culinary tradition in a creative way, earning the restaurant a Michelin star.
Restaurant L’Olivera by Paco Pérez is another option, where the renowned Emporda-born chef (with four Michelin stars) has revamped the entire dining experience at the 5-star Hotel Peralada. The resort also boasts Shiro by Pérez, where delicious creations inspired by Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai dishes are fused with Mediterranean ingredients.

The Wine Spa, a wellness centre inspired by the wine-making tradition of Peralada, is a space designed for holistic care featuring a water circuit and heated pool, treatment rooms, dry sauna and hammam. It offers a wide range of facial and body treatments based on the natural benefits of wine and grape derivatives.
Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf really is the ultimate in golf, wine and luxury.
